“Handbags from the Heart”
Donate handbags filled with items that ladies need

The Georgia Chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will sponsor “Handbags from the Heart” a public service project during Georgia’s Statewide Founders Day/Cluster. Please plan to donate one (or more) gently used handbag(s) while attending this event. Include inside the handbags items such as: tissue packs, lipstick holders, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, compact mirror, sewing kit, pen, emery board (for nails), handy wipe packs, tooth brush, tooth paste, dental floss, chap stick, hotel toiletries, etc.
These handbags will be donated to ladies in the metro Atlanta area assisted living facilities, girls’ clubs, personal care homes, homeless shelters, battered women homes, etc.
Containers for the handbags to be deposited will be provided outside the hotel conference rooms for your convenience on Friday and Saturday, February 24-25th. For more information, please contact Soror Sharon Jones at: sjones9@bellsouth.net.
