Greetings Sorors and Friends,
I, Manica Pierrette, from the Mu Iota Chapter at the University of Central Florida, sincerely and humbly introduce myself as your 2011-2014 Southern Regional Representative. With full faith, trust, and love you all believed in me and the vision of LINKing together the collegiate and alumnae sorors of the Southern Region. It is an honor to be chosen to be the voice of the 83 collegiate chapters of this Dynamic region.
I look forward to meeting and working with the many talented and educated sorors of this region while implementing the many initiatives of our national programs. We as collegiate sorors need to take action and keep ourselves and our fellow sisters striving for higher scholastic achievement, preparing for collegiate transition, and educating ourselves with the wealth of history in our beloved sorority. We must not remain complacent with the way things are but always aim for high quality and innovative programming on our campuses.
Through this triennium term it is my goal to provide collegiate chapters with the resources to accomplish the following goals: increase collegiate transition, encourage sorors to take an active interest in national and regional leadership positions, and advocate programming with a focus on social action in the interest of our national government. Our 24th National President, Cynthia M.A Butler-Intyre has called on us all, to individually and collectively improve our sisterhood in order to strengthen our sisterhood. Soror Cheryl Turner and I, along with the members of the Regional Leadership team strive to work hard to make a better Delta, one chapter at a time.
Sisterly love,

Manica Pierrette
22nd Southern Regional Representative
